Dear Members, Friends and Supporters,
Hope this year’s letter finds everyone happy and well.
Spring / Summer 2008 was such a sad time of loss for several of our owners.
Our sympathy goes to the families of:-
Sandy and Solo from Avon, Amber from Aberdare (age related), Foley from Avon (shockingly sudden, believed bone cancer), Moss from Barry (age related), Pheobe from Machen. If any losses have been missed please accept sincere apologies.
Summer / Autumn 2008 was dominated by the awful weather and the impending credit crunch. Just like other charities we are cutting costs wherever we can.
If anyone has … COLLARS / LEADS / MUZZLES / COATS. ETC.
that they don’t need please consider donating them to us and ring or email with parcel weight, we’ll send stamps for the postage.
Thanks to supporters Roger and Rachel, we now have the use of a delightful yellow transporter van, which we hope to pay for with a grant from the Racing Board.
First Sunday Walks at Cosmeston Lake, Penarth continue between 2pm and 3pm. Now in their 8th year. Street Collections / Meet and Greets on various dates.
God willing, we’ll be having our usual five Dog Shows on:-
Sunday 26th April at Rogerstone. Classses for Novelties and Pedigrees
Saturday 4th July in Llanfrechfa. Fun classes only
BH Monday 31st August in Rogerstone. Fun classes only
Sunday 13th September in Cardiff. Classses for Novelties and Pedigrees
Sunday 1st November in Risca. Fun classes only.
Possibly one at Parc Cwm Darren … postponed twice last year.
